Put Me In Coach!
Ages 5-6
"Wee Kick About" is a fun-filled program offered by Glenside Celtic for boys and girls who are 5 and 6 years old (under age 7 until January). This program was developed to teach the fundamentals of soccer to our young athletes in a fun and educational way. Wee Kick About is played in spring and fall.
- Fall (September - October)
- Spring (March - June)
- Play is on Saturdays (fall) or Sundays (spring) at 9-10 AM
- 8 weeks of play
- Field: Temple University, Ambler
- All players will receive a Glenside Celtic uniform (t-shirt)
- Current cost is $90-$100 per player, depending on season and subject to change
Ages 7-8
Our "In-House" league is our recreational sports league for children who are 7 and 8 years old. All teams are part of Glenside Celtic, meaning it is beginner-level, focused on fun and cultivating soccer fundamentals, rather than advanced, competitive play.
- Fall (Late August - Mid November)
- Winter (January - March) at SoFive (indoor)
- Spring (March - June)
- Practices are held one night per week
- Games are played on weekends
- 4v4 play
- All new players will receive a Glenside Celtic uniform
- Current cost is $125-$135 per player, depending on season and subject to change
Ages 8+
"Travel Soccer" focuses on the development of the athlete’s fundamental soccer skills through advanced training sessions and competitive league play during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Soccer Seasons.
Glenside Celtic Soccer Club’s spring and fall travel teams participate primarily in the Inter-County Soccer League which includes teams from Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties.

- Practices are held weekly, two nights per week in the fall
- Games are played on weekends
- 10 league games, plus 1-3 tournaments
- U9-10 play 7v7
- U11-12 play 9v9
