PA Coaching Requirements
Coaching Resources
In order to be properly set up in our system, coaches will need to complete proper clearances. Once completed, upload each certificate of completion to GotSport.
All 6 clearances MUST be completed before you are able to be out on the field coaching.
Step 1:
Log in to GotSport
- Click on Dashboard (first item in menu bar)
- Click on Requirements
Under Requirements, you should see:
- PA State Police Criminal History
- SafeSport (30-90 minutes)
- Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Risk Management
- FBI Fingerprint or Affidavit
- PA Child Welfare History
- Concussion Training (30 minutes)
Step 2:
For any expired requirements, click on its respective "Details" link and follow the prompts.
For SafeSport items: From your SafeSport Dashboard, select "Catalog."
- If you have not taken the SafeSport training, enroll in "SafeSport Trained - U.S. Soccer Federation" (90 minutes)
- If you have already taken the SafeSport training, enroll in whichever refresher course is next to complete (30 minutes)
Step 3:
After completing each item, save its certificate of completion and upload your certificates to GotSport and let glensideceltic@gmail.com know these coaching requirements are now competed.
